Domestic vinyl flooring

Makes include: Tarkett, Leoline, Avenue, Gerflor, Forbo and Beauflor vinyls are suitable for areas that are likely to get wet, like kitchens and bathrooms. It is normally fitted to a concrete floor that has been smoothed with a latex bonded screed or a wooden floor that has been ply-boarded or hard-boarded. Even brand new houses have floors that are not always level and smooth.

We are able to supply a wide range of vinyl flooring to suit all tastes and budgets.

Patterns can be a wood effect, plain/mottled, ceramic tile effect or quite highly patterned depending on your personal taste.

Commercial vinyls

Makes include: Altro, Polyflor, Gerflor, Forbo and Tarkett

These commercial vinyls are often used in schools, hospitals and offices. There are two main methods of laying the floor. Firstly, you can flat lay up to existing skirting or with a sit-on skirting.

Alternatively you can curve the flooring 10cm up the wall which makes it ideal for wet rooms and toilets.

Luxury Vinyl Tiles

Makes included: Camero, Karndean, Amtico, Colonia and Forbo

Luxury vinyl tiles come in wood, stone, slate, granite or marble effect with or without a bevel. There is a huge selection of colour and designs available in a wide range of prices reflective to quality.

Vinyl tiles are extremely versatile and can be laid in any direction. This means we can create bespoke patterns for you and create something truly unique to your home or business.

Wood floor/floorboards

These floors are always overlaid with 6mm ply-board due to manufacturer’s recommendations, even if your floor appears to be in good condition. If you are having domestic vinyl laid we would use hardboard.

Concrete floor

This is known in the trade as ‘screeding’. We usually do this before laying a smooth flooring, such as domestic vinyl, luxury vinyl tiles or commercial vinyl. This promotes a smooth and consistent floor level, giving the best finish to your new floor.
