This job was to remove existing carpet tiles on stairs at a company in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire and replace them with new carpet tiles supplied by us.
To avoid any disruption to the company’s normal working hours, we arranged to fit the carpet tiles we had supplied on a Saturday.
First, we uplifted the old carpet tiles and nosings ready for the staircase to be decorated. The stair nosings (or edgings) are fitted to the front of each step to protect against wear and tear and also increase visibility of the stair edge for increased safety.
Once the stair area had been decorated, we fitted the new carpet tiles and nosings.
